I build networks, then measure whether they actually work.

About
I like the kind of work where you can tell whether it works or not.
At secondary school in Ostrava I went the whole way: cabling and configuring Cisco routers, firewall rules and VPN tunnels, fusion splicing optical fiber and measuring it. I'm now at Brno University of Technology. Beyond networks I'm interested in applied AI.
What I work on
Networking
Cisco routers and switches — cabling, console, CLI configuration. VLANs, routing, switching. Packet Tracer for designing larger topologies.
Cybersecurity
FortiGate firewalls, rules and policies, VPN tunnels. Hands-on with an EDR platform.
AI
Python and working with large-model APIs. I build my own tools mostly to find out where AI breaks — you don't learn that from articles.
Web
HTML, CSS, PHP and C#. The smallest of my areas, but it keeps me close to development.
Hands-on with
- Cisco IOS · console configuration
- VLAN · routing · switching
- FortiGate · rules and policies
- VPN tunnels
- EDR platform
- Fusion splicing of optical fiber
- Measurement · direct method and OTDR
- RJ45 and coax termination
Most of this comes from labs at secondary school. It isn't production experience — but it is real hardware, not clicking around a simulator.

Cisco IOS configuration auditor
A command-line tool that checks Cisco IOS running-configs against security rules and reports what failed, on which line, and why. Rules are data rather than code, and a check that could not be evaluated is reported as such rather than as a pass.

Firmware for an ESP32 with an OLED display. Scans the 2.4 GHz band, reads raw 802.11 management frames in promiscuous mode, and flags bursts of deauthentication frames. Every network is reported by the weakest encryption it accepts, and the tool states plainly what it could not see.
